Tim first met John McGee in 1999 and has been fully invested in the philosophy of Gentle Teaching ever since. John offered to personally mentor Tim in Gentle Teaching, and the two spent countless hours together each year until John’s passing.
Tim has been an active member of the GTI community, presenting at international conferences, as well as training and mentoring employees and other organizations throughout western Canada. Tim served on the former GTI Board of Directors as a member at large and as Board President.
Tim has served as the Executive Director of Saskatchewan Alternative Initiatives in Canada since 1999. He holds an undergraduate diploma in Values Based Leadership and a Masters degree in Global Leadership.
In 2023, Tim was bestowed the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee medal in recognition of his contributions in the field of Social Services in Saskatchewan. He continues to work passionately to weave together leadership practices with a culture of gentleness.
